I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were comfortable with good facilities like tea making and TV, but they looked a bit tired. However, there were issues over the passage not being in our room. The service was on point with a perfect stay, helpful staff, and a good included breakfast. The location was excellent for exploring all of York's attractions, but the basement setting was a bit dark. The dining took longer than expected on some days, but the food was of excellent quality. Overall, a stay with good and not-so-good aspects.

I had a wonderful stay at Holgate Bridge with its excellent location near the train station, city center, and amenities. The rooms were spacious, well-equipped, and impeccably clean, tended by a warm and accommodating host family. The breakfast service was top-notch, offering a great start to each day.
